Dominating the center-left is the Flame Nebula (NGC 2024), glowing with a distinctive golden-orange hue and bisected by dark, jagged dust lanes that resemble a flickering campfire in space. Just below it, a long, vertical curtain of red emission nebula stretches across the frame, silhouetting the iconic, small dark notch of the Horsehead Nebula near its center.
