Buying Fine Art Prints — Quality & Shipping Standards

When you purchase a fine art print, any size up to A3+ (13×19 inches) from my collection, you are acquiring a tangible piece of the landscape or the cosmos, crafted with uncompromising attention to detail from capture to delivery. Here is what goes into every print that leaves my studio.

Crafted In-House for Ultimate Control & Longevity

To ensure every photograph meets my exact artistic vision, I handle the printing process entirely in-house using a professional archival printer (the Epson SureColor P700) paired with UltraChrome PRO10 pigment inks. Working directly with museum-grade archival fine art papers allows for exceptional shadow detail, rich tonal depth, and a color fidelity that will endure for generations. Every print is personally inspected, approved, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Framing fine art prints is very expensive. When you purchase a print in a standard aspect ratio; square, 4×5 or 3×2, the print you receive will fit into an off-the-shelf frame with mat. This will allow you to acquire, display and enjoy fine art photography very inexpensively.

If you are a collector or wanting the absolute maximum image area, I will also print to your specifications which will likely require custom framing.

Shipped Flat: Because Your Experience Matters

For a long time, the standard industry practice has been to roll fine art prints tightly into cardboard tubes for shipping. While tubes are inexpensive and easy for the shipper, they create an unnecessary hurdle for you, the collector: prints arrive tightly curled, requiring days under heavy weights just to flatten safely before framing.

That is why I have made the deliberate decision to ship all standard prints completely flat.

  • Zero Curling: Your print arrives flat, pristine, and completely relaxed, eliminating the risk of accidental creasing or fiber damage from trying to unroll a stubborn sheet.

  • Ready for Framing Instantly: Most prints fit economical ready-made frames with mat.

  • A Superior Collector Experience: Opening your package should feel like unboxing a gallery exhibition, not wrestling with a cardboard cylinder.

While flat mailers, rigid backing boards, and specialized packaging cost significantly more to ship—and require extra labor on my end—the investment, for me, is entirely worth it for a better, more respectful user experience. Your art deserves better than a tube, and so do you.
